Delete your data
Fridge Poet has no accounts, so there is no account to delete. Here is how to remove each kind of data. The privacy policy says what each one is.
Your cookbook backup
In the app, open Settings, tap "Clear all saved recipes" and confirm. This:
- moves your saved recipes to Recently Deleted on your phone, where you can restore them for 15 days. After that they are gone. Restoring one backs it up again.
- deletes the copy on our server. If your phone is offline, the copy expires on its own a year after your last change.
If you have no saved recipes, there is nothing to clear and nothing is sent.
Everything else on your phone
Recent recipes, Recently Deleted, your pantry, cooking profile, preferences, dish photos and shopping list stay on your phone until you remove them in the app or uninstall it.
Uninstalling the app removes everything stored on your phone, but not the cookbook backup. Tap "Clear all saved recipes" first if you want that gone, or wait for the one-year expiry.
Messages to us
They are kept for up to 180 days after the last message. To delete a conversation sooner, email hello@fridgepoet.app from any address and tell us roughly when you wrote and what about.
Usage and crash data
Turn off Settings → Share usage and crash data to stop sending it. What was already sent is tied to a random install ID, not to your name, and PostHog deletes it after 1 year. To ask us to delete it sooner, email us roughly when and on which platform you used the app.
Subscriptions
Apple or Google keeps the purchase record, and RevenueCat keeps the record we use to check your subscription. Cancelling in your App Store or Play Store settings ends the subscription. To have your RevenueCat record deleted, email us the order number from your Apple or Google receipt.
Waitlist and feedback on this website
Every waitlist email has an unsubscribe link. Feedback-form answers are deleted after 180 days. To delete either sooner, email us.
Abuse-prevention counters
Our server counts requests per IP address to stop abuse, and deletes the counters after 2 days.

For anything else, email hello@fridgepoet.app from any address. Because the app has no accounts, tell us roughly when and on which platform you used it. We will confirm what, if anything, exists and delete it.
